Welcome back! Last post we discussed how you can set a really cool Clickbank Trust Badge onto your ClickFunnels webpage and customize it based on your choice so that your website can look more authentic to your visitors.
But I wanted to jump gears in this post a little and talk about navigation bars.
So suppose you have a super-duper-puper-fuper-chluper long landing page.
Suppose you want your customers to feel comfortable on your landing page and be able to navigate to any area within your page with a click of a button… Well you can set that up… with the navigation bar option.
Let’s just straight to it!
1) Log into your ClickFunnels account.
2) Go to your desired page edit mode.
3) Add a new column block, whether it’s 1, 2, 3, etc…
4) Select the ‘Navigation’ panel, which is 3rd left from the bottom.
Ta-da! You’re done!
We’re done right?
Absolutely not.
Now we have to LINK each of your menu options above with the desired area you want the page to go to when clicking on it.
Suppose your first menu option says ‘testimonials’, and you want it to scroll to the ‘testimonial’ area of your landing page.
5) Go to the exact place you want the page to scroll down to upon menu item being clicked.
6) Click on the gear icon of the corresponding section. So for example, if I want the page to scroll down to the word ‘TESTIMONIALS’, I will click on that element’s gear icon.
7) At the top right corner of that element’s popup window, copy the ‘element ID’.
8) Click on the gear icon of your navigation panel.
9) On the word that you want to be clicked on so it scrolls to the ‘testimonials’, PASTE the element ID you have just copied. So if I want the menu word ‘testimonials’ to lead down to the part of my page that has the testimonials, I will paste that element ID into the part that says ‘link URL’.
That is it. So now, when people click on the ‘testimonials’ menu option you have at the top (or wherever you have put it), it will instantly appear on your testimonials part.
There is a problem with this method however, and that is that if you have ANY animations on that part of the page that is being scrolled to, the animations will NOT appear if they are programmed to be ‘on scroll’.
That’s because if you use the navigation panel this way, your page is not SCROLLED to the area of the page, it just instantly jumps there.
