Want to learn how to integrate Unbounce with GetResponse?
Well this post is for you! Keep on reading to learn how YOU can finally connect these two products so that you can start sending emails to people opting in to your Unbounce landing page.
You can keep reading or take a look at this video as I go over how to do that!
Unfortunately although AWeber is natively integrated with Unbounce (doesn’t require another 3rd party), GetResponse is not – so you also need to sign up with Zapier in order to integrate GetResponse with Unbounce.
That is pretty simple however, so just sign up for Zapier (they offer a free 7 day trial for premium apps) and follow the steps I cover in this video.
Step 1: Set up the integration within Unbounce
Basically, we will select our landing page, click on the “integrations” tab, select GetResponse, and log in to both the Zapier and GetResponse accounts.
The first part involves gathering your form submission data from Unbounce and feeding it to Zapier.
So things like “does your landing page have an email submit form, a name form, a country form”, etc…
This will matter for when we get to the GetResponse part.
Step 2: Connect with GetResponse
Once you do that, you will arrive at the GetResponse stage (you can see the progress on the left-hand side).
This is where you will need to enter your GetResponse API key to connect the two platforms and feed Unbounce with your GetResponse information, such as available lists that you created.
You can find your API key simply by clicking on “menu” in the top-left of your GetResponse account, and then clicking on “Integrations & API”.
Click on the “API” tab once there and simply copy & paste it back into your Unbounce page!
Step 3: Fill in the Zapier details
After you do that, click on “continue” and move on to the next step, which involves filling in the form details.
This is where you set what email/name/other contact details you have on your landing page will get pre-populated to.
The important thing to note here is that you need to click on “FORM DATA” rather than entering an actual email/name, so that this way, all the information gets sent to the actual email that was entered, NOT the email that you specifically wrote down.
So whatever data the visitor to your landing page enters will be the data that will be sent back to GetResponse and stored there.
So go down the list and just select all the form fields you have on your landing page.
Once you do that, click on continue, wait for the test to run and the Zap to start running, and you’ll be done!
